Saturday Art Adventures: Art + Cart

Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to stop by our Art + Cart for an exploration of the painting Carnations of All Sorts by Henri Fantin-Latour. Our May activity uses this painting to explore how artists can use different materials to portray flowers and celebrate spring.

Saturday Art Adventures: Art + Cart is a monthly program led by a museum intern for children of all ages and their caregivers. The Art + Cart activity focuses on a work of art on view at the museum and has special hands-on activities related to that work. All materials will be provided.

Please note that this event also is part of the annual Arts in Bloom Weekend. Explore your creativity with free programs scheduled throughout the weekend, designed by the museum and other community partners in Waterville. This seasonal event is the perfect way to celebrate spring with friends and family.
