This beginner level six-week series with instructor Pam Wilcox is an introduction to hand building including sculptural projects such as fairies, gnomes, garden decorations. Slab built mugs with handles and much more. Students will learn how to make connections by scoring and slipping the clay. Students will also learn about equipment in the clay studio.
First-time clay artists will be given individual attention, while more experienced artists may work at their desired pace. No prior experience required.
Included in the class is a 25 pound bag of clay, all necessary glazes, and all kiln firings during the class period. Each student can access the studio outside of class and can take home finished work they create in class or during studio hours.
No experience necessary.
