Waterville Creates, in partnership with the Waterville Public Library and Colby College, is thrilled to present a multi-venue family-friendly event on Saturday, March 16. From 10–11am the library, located at 73 Elm Street, will host a read aloud activity of The Pigeon Will Ride the Roller Coaster by Mo Willems. Pigeon himself will be in attendance and will give away free copies of the book while supplies last. After the reading, Pigeon will flutter from the library to the Paul J. Schupf Art Center at 93 Main Street to lead a free group art-making activity from Willems’ book, We Are in an Art-ivity Book! from 11:30–1pm. Pigeon will distribute free copies of the Art-ivity book on a first-come, first-served basis. All are welcome!
Please note that author Mo Willems will not be in attendance on Saturday.
