Halcyon Presents Realized

Halcyon is thrilled to present Realized during the Maine International Film Festival! Realized combines stop-motion animation with live string quartet music to imagine our collective future. With animated films and stories inspired by a series of workshops with Maine high school students, Realized amplifies the artwork and voices of young people as they reflect on the present and imagine what a resilient, sustainable, and equitable future on this planet could look like 50 years from now. Featuring folk tunes and music by Caroline Shaw and Philip Glass, Realized is a creative, honest, and hopeful multimedia program exploring the potential we all have to enact meaningful change in our communities.
