Art Break: Muhammad Ali, Miami Beach, Florida by Gordon Parks

Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the Colby Museum galleries. This week, we will focus on Muhammad Ali, Miami Beach, Florida, by Gordon Parks, located in the Upper Jetté Gallery. This is the opening day for the exhibition, Act of Sight: The Tsiaras Family Photography Collection, which includes this work.

Talking as a group about works of art can offer us new ways to see the world, pose difficult questions, get us in touch with our emotions, challenge us with new ideas, and sometimes delight us with beauty. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
