Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the Colby Museum’s gallery spaces. This week, Karen Shi ’25, a Colby Museum student assistant, will facilitate the conversation, focusing on Winter Evening, by George Inness, located in the Osher Gallery.
Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
