Wednesdays, June 21, 28, July 5, 12, 19, 26 5:30- 7pm
This 6-week pottery class will explore the fundamentals of wheel throwing including creating mugs, bowls, plates, and other objects based on student interest. Students will learn clay basics including centering, shaping, trimming, handle making, and glazing. The instructor will work closely with each student as they navigate all the elementary aspects of wheel throwing. This introductory class will provide each student with a solid foundation and working knowledge of clay basics.
Included in the class is a 25 pound bag of clay, all necessary glazes, and all kiln firings during the class period. Each student can access the studio outside of class and can take home finished work they create in class or during studio hours.
No experience necessary.
