Clay Ornaments with Cassandra Sessin
Part of
Community Maker Days
In this class,
Cassandra Rose will instruct you on how to roll out the clay, use clay tools, and add colors and designs to your ornament. By the end of the class you will have created two ornaments that you will be able to take home the following week once they have been fired. These clay ornaments make great keepsakes, either for your tree or as a unique gift to give someone special.

I am a born and raised Passamaquoddy woman who grew up immersed in Maine’s natural beauty and rich culture. I am a mom to four amazing children who are my world.
I am grateful to be able to share my culture and heritage through leather and clay and find working with both to be healing and therapeutic, using my hands to reconnect with the earth and Creator. My work reflects the many influences I’ve had and is a collective of Maine indigenous culture. Each of my pieces are handcrafted with the hope that they will bring joy to your life and can be passed down from generation to generation.
