This traveling touch tank program introduces youth to the fascinating world of native Maine marine organisms. Through hands-on experiences, participants gain a deeper understanding of our coastal ecosystems and the importance of sustainable aquaculture practices.
The touch tank program is facilitated by a UMaine staff member or student employee trained in positive youth development and experiential learning. These staff members and students have also been trained to handle all the touch tank inhabitants safely and respectfully.
Oct 17: Book Talk Time: Tell us all about a book you recently read! Present to a group a picture, report, or poem. What did you like? What did you dislike about it? Who was your favorite character?
Oct 24: LEGO Time
Oct 31: Spooky Mad-Libs: Gather your words and get ready to laugh! (Costumes Welcome)
*The Bartlett Room for Teens is available for older siblings!
