Maine Craft Weekend is a statewide tour of Maine craft studios, businesses, and events. The weekend offers an opportunity for the public to explore the life and work of craft artists and businesses in Maine and for artists to connect with craft enthusiasts, collectors, and visitors behind the scene.

Paper Quilling with Candy Andre 10am–12pm
Adults and children 8+, $21, pre-registration encouraged
Join local artist Candace Andre in this fall themed paper quilling workshop. This is a beginner introduction to an ancient art form that originated in Egypt. Participants will learn basic techniques and step-by-step instruction using small strips of colored paper to create a beautiful autumnal image on a card or matte board for display.
Wood Scrap Pumpkins with Yvonne Brown 10am–12pm
Adults and children 8+, $21, pre-registration encouraged
Make your own fun, whimsical pumpkins from scrap wood, paint, and fall embellishments. They’re sure to make you smile all fall!
Wheel Throwing Demonstration 11am–3pm
All ages, free, drop-in
Visit the Art of Clay Studio for an open studio day, where you can watch members skillfully create pieces on the wheel and by hand.
