This Valentine's Day, revisit the beloved Pixar film Ratatouille at the Maine Film Center! Remy, a plucky young rat that longs for more from life—and food—than scrounging for scraps, washes up in the sewers of Paris after being separated from his family. Exploring the city, Remy happens upon Gusteau's, a Michelin-starred restaurant that has fallen by the wayside since Chef Gusteau passed away. An admirer of the late Gusteau, Remy discovers a talent for cooking when he fixes a soup that was ruined by Linguini, a garbage boy with an absence of culinary talent. Teaming up to keep cooking at Gusteau's, Remy and Linguini must avoid the suspicions of head chef Skinner and develop a dish worthy of Anton Ego, a notoriously harsh food critic, all while a romance begins to blossom between Linguini and chef Colette.
