Waterville Moves is a bi-weekly series that invites you to move your body, share stories, and create connections through guided movements and dance making! This hour long intergenerational dance class is for people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences. No formal dance experience is necessary. The class moves from solo movement practices to working with others to whole group creative processes. This class is designed for all ages and abilities. Classes are free and open to all: no experience with dance needed. (ages 5-105 welcome!)

Matthew Cumbie is a choreographer and dance maker who has worked on community performance and dance projects across the country. He is currently a visiting instructor in the Theater + Dance department at Colby College.

This project is supported by a collaboration with Waterville Creates and the Colby Arts Office.
