MIFF27 Youth Filmmaking Workshop

For aspiring young filmmakers looking to get a jumpstart on their future productions! Learn the basics of cameras and other film gear, the different roles on a production team, how to effectively structure a story, and essential editing techniques on professional software. This class is a great first step in filmmaking and is intended both to give new directors the tools they need to make their own movies and to provide foundational skills that will help in further film production education. Filmmakers will walk out of this class with one or two short films to kickstart their portfolio!

Age: 10–14
Limit: 10 participants
Cost: $50

This event is eligible for the Youth Arts Access Fund.
