Youth Arts Access Fund

Waterville Creates believes that all youth, regardless of income, ability, or background, should have access to outstanding arts programming and arts education opportunities.

Our Youth Arts Access Fund (YAAF) provides youth aged 18 and under with free or pay-what-you-can access to all public, ticketed events at Waterville Creates, including movies at the Maine Film Center, theatre camps and performances at the Waterville Opera House, and art and clay classes and camps at Ticonic Gallery + Studios.

ACTIVATE

Visit us at the Ed Harris Box Office (93 Main Street, Waterville) or call at 207.873.7000, and simply ask to use the fund to help cover admission. We want to ensure the best experience and widest access for youth, so please note that YAAF can only cover up to five youth tickets in a single order.

Anyone aged 18 or under can activate YAAF to cover some or all of the cost to movies, plays, concerts, classes, camps, and more!

IMPACT

Since its launch in March 2022, the Youth Arts Access Fund has been activated more than 5,000 times, providing over $200,000 in free arts experiences for kids in our community.

SUPPORT

Every donation to YAAF makes a direct, immediate, and lasting impact. When you support the fund, you give a child the gift of an arts experience they’ll never forget.
